Nosy Design – Isle of Wight Website Design

Providing Value

A lot of companies will say they’ll deliver a Ferrari on a Ford KA budget. Firstly, they won’t – and secondly, they won’t provide the best value for your investment. Would you rather spend £100 and get £200 in profits or spend £500 and gain a £1,500 return?

Nosy Design takes personal investment in your brand. Every member of the team has previously worked in a key Isle of Wight industry which we provide marketing for. This industry experience allows us to get into your customer’s shoes and provide marketing that works.

The 'Give' Tactic.

When it comes to marketing, especially on social media, Nosy take on the ‘give before you ask’ tactic. No one wants to go on their Facebook or their Instagram account and constantly see adverts that feel like hard-selling. You visit those platforms because you want to gain some sort of value.

What does value look like? It could be laughing, gaining knowledge, learning something, being given a tip that makes your life easier or event making YOU more money.

Now, who do you think a customer will be more likely to buy from? A brand that constantly provides them with ‘value’ or a brand that tries to sell a 20% discounted product by shoving it their face?

HELP

Our Process

We always aim to start each new client relationship with an initial consultation to gain an understanding of what you are looking for. This also allows YOU the chance to see what we are like and if Nosy Design is the right marketing agency choice for your business.

You like coffee, we like coffee – let’s get a drink and talk. We’ll share witty anecdotes from vacations and toast to good health.

Contact Us

Following the consultation, we will write a proposal for your consideration. This will highlight the marketing services we think would help you to reach your goal.

This will include timelines, costing models and a summary of the predicted results. We do think it’s important to be honest with our clients at the beginning of the relationship, so things don’t creep-up halfway through the project. Similarly, this gives you the chance to ask any questions,

At this stage you can even accept the proposal or suggest any changes which we will do our best to meet.

When the proposal has been accepted by both parties and (if applicable) we have signed a service agreement and collected the deposit, we will start the analysis & research process.

The Nosy Design team will take a long look at both your business, market trends and projections – as well as other businesses in your sector. We will also (internally) create a plan of action to determine which team member will tackle which task.

It’s important to do this at the beginning of the project so that we can maximise the results which you gain from our work and get the best value possible.

“Failing to plan is planning to fail.”

We will carry out the work as per the service agreement. We always try to keep our client in the loop and will send you regular updates on the work that is being carried out.

On some larger projects, we will also ask you for resources such as pictures (for websites), written content (for promotional print) or suggested music (for videos).

When the first project draft has been completed, we will send it over to you for a review and any changes. All quotes will normally include 3 revisions (unless otherwise stated).

When the project has been finished, we will send it to your for a final approval and sign-off*. We are always devoted to making sure our clients gain the best value from the work we have delivered – we will be available to answer any questions and support you in making the most of what has been done for you.

We also love working with the same clients and creating long-lasting relationships. If you’re happy with the work we have carried out, we will stay in-touch in the future to see how you’re getting on and to find-out if there’s anything else we can help with!

How We Progressed

The Beginning

1st January 2018 Following several years of switching jobs: from web design to hospitality and IT Tutoring; Matt decided that he would try something new... he started Nosy Design on a part-time basis whilst working for Age UK as a Digital Tutor.

1st Employee

1st September 2018 In September 2018, Nosy Design became a limited company (Nosy Consultancy Limited T/A Nosy Design) and Alex joined the team on a part-time basis. At this point, the video and media aspects of the business started to develop further and Nosy gained a small base in Alex's office.

1st Apprentice

15th January 2019 Nosy Design worked with the Isle of Wight College and recruited their first apprentice in January 2019. Oliver came from a filming background and joined the team as a 'marketing apprentice'; he quickly progressed and is now the lead videographer. Alex also joined the company on a full-time basis during this period.

2nd Apprentice

May 2019 Nosy Design have successfully recruited their second apprentice who will be starting with us in May 2019.

Full-time

15th June 2018 As Nosy Design started to gain more customers, with reoccurring social media management contracts building the skeleton of the business, Matt decided to quit his other job and go ahead with Nosy Design on a full-time basis. The work was carried-out between coffee shops, the living room and client's offices.

New Office

20th November 2018 In November, Nosy Design gained access to a new office in Sandown (above Top Mops). The office needed some decorating and new furniture. After a two week refurbishment, the guys moved in.

Bigger Fish

January - April 2019 As the business and the team expanded, Nosy Design started to work with bigger clients like Betapak, the Isle of Wight Council and Medina Food Services.

The Future

2019 - 2020 Our aim is to become Hampshire's leading providers of Video, Web, Marketing & Design services by the end of 2020.

To make this happen, the team will be heavily focusing on improving our methods and client interactions; slowly infiltrating the mainland market and targeting key industries in Southampton and Portsmouth.
